“The Lifespan of a Fact” is based on a true story about a big time magazine editor, an opinionated essayist and a fact checker with a dedication to detail. When a sure-to-be award winning essay is sent to the fact checker, he finds so many discrepancies that he flies to the essayist’s house to discuss them in a comedic yet thought provoking back and forth about the moral implications of facts.
