  • “The Lifespan of a Fact” is based on a true story about a big magazine editor, an essayist and a fact checker. When a sure-to-be award winning essay is sent to a fact checker, the checker flies to the essayist’s house to discuss the error-riddled essay in a comedic yet thought provoking back and forth about the moral implications of facts. The director’s main requests were for a realistic look but to also distinguish for the audience the looks between office and John’s living room. My design achieved this by using natural tones throughout the play and making the living room warmer and office cooler.
